Today, we remember the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate to Saint Catherine Labouré, which took place on the 19th of July and the 27th of November 1830, in Paris, in the chapel of the Mother House of the Daughters of Charity. This event gave rise to the Medal of the Immaculate Virgin, which people called “miraculous”. This Feast took its name from here, which Pope Leo XIII approved on July 23, 1894.
Invitatory Antiphon: Come let us celebrate the immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary; Let us worship her son Christ the Lord.
Hymn
O Mary, lovingly you listen to the prayers of us mortals.
Look, we are humbly asking you to assist us continually.
Assist us when the dreadful chain of our sins is hurting us;
Quickly loosen the fetters that are binding our hearts with guilt.
Come to our aid when the deceitful image of the world leads us astray,
So that our soul will not miss the path to salvation by forgetting about heaven.
Come to our aid even when disastrous conditions threaten our bodies;
Make the times peaceful until the light of eternity breaks through.
Protect your children also at the time of death,
So that with your help it may be given to them to obtain their eternal reward.
Glory to you, O Jesus, who were born of the Virgin
Together with the Father and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
Antiphon 1: O Mother, how pure you are; you are untouched by sin; yours was the privilege to carry God within you.
Psalms and canticle from Sunday, week I.
Antiphon 2: The Lord God Most High has blessed you, Virgin Mary, above all the women of the earth.
Antiphon 3: Sinless Virgin, let us follow joyfully in your footsteps; draw us after you in the in the fragrance of your holiness.
Scripture Reading
Isaiah 61:10.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God,
for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Short Responsory

R. The God of power has given me his strength.

Benedictus Antiphon: Through her He showed His marvels and His wonders throughout the earth.
Intercessions
Let us glorify our Savior, who chose the Virgin Mary for his mother. Let us ask him:
R. May Your mother intercede for us, Lord.
Sun of Justice, the Immaculate Virgin was the white dawn announcing your rising: grant that we may always live in the light of your coming, R.
Saviour of the world, by your redeeming might you preserved your mother beforehand from all stain of sin, keep watch over us, lest we sin. R.
You are our redeemer, who made the Immaculate Virgin Mary your purest home and sanctuary of the Holy Spirit, make us temples of your Spirit forever. R.
Eternal Word, you taught your mother to choose the better part. Grant that we may imitate her. R.
King of kings, you lifted up your mother, body and soul, into heaven, help us to fix our thoughts on things above. R.
Our Father
Concluding Prayer
O God, may the celebration of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal,
fill us with holy joy,
for You, in Your immense goodness,
show us in the Immaculate Virgin Mary,
the mystery of Your Son, so inexpressibly united;
may her motherly intercession help us
to obtain the comfort of Your providential care,
and to dedicate ourselves to the mystery of redemption
with free and faithful heart.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
Hymn
Hail, star of the sea, holy Mother of God.
Virgin forever, and blessed gate of heaven.
Secure us in peace by taking the "Ave'"
from the mouth of Gabriel, inverting the name of Eva
Break the chains of the guilty, provide the light for the blind,
prevent our misfortunes and obtain for us all that is good
Show that you are mother; may he who willingly became your child.,
being born in us, accept our prayers through you.
O peerless virgin, gentlest of all,
make us guilt-free, gentle and chaste.
Obtain a pure life and prepare a safe path for us
so that we may always rejoice with you beholding Jesus.
Praise to God the Father, glory to Christ, the Most High
and to the Holy Spirit, one and the same honour to all three. Amen.
Antiphon 1: You are beautiful, O Mary; in you there is no trace of original sin.
PSALM I21(122)
I rejoiced when I heard them say:
'Let us go to God's house.'
And now our feet are standing
within your gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is built as a city
strongly compact.
It is there that the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord
For Israel’s law it is,
there to praise the Lord's name,
There were set the throne of judgment
of the house of Dávid.
For the peace of Jerusalem pray
Peace be to your homes!
May peace reign in your walls,
in your palaces, peace!"
For love of my brethren and friends
I say: Peace upon you!
For love of the house of the Lord
I will ask for your good.
Antiphon 1: You are beautiful, O Mary; in you there is no trace of original sin.
Antiphon 2: You are the glory of Jerusalem, the joy of Israel; you are the fairest honour of our race.
PSALM I26(127)
If the Lord does not build the house,
in vain do its builders labor;
if the Lord does not watch over the city,
in vain does the watchman keep vigil.
In vain is your earlier rising,
your going later to rest,
you who toil for the bread you eat:
When he pours gifts on his beloved while they slumber.
Truly sons are a gift from the Lord,
a blessing, the fruit of the womb.
Indeed the sons of youth
are like arrows, in the hand of a warrior
O the happiness of the man
who has filled his quiver with these arrows!
He will have no cause for shame
when he disputes with his foes in the gateways.
Antiphon 2: You are the glory of Jerusalem, the joy of Israel; you are the fairest honour of our race.
Antiphon 3: The robe you wear is white as spotless snow; your face is radiant like the sun.
CANTICLE: EPH 1:3-10
Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
He chose us in him
before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy
and blameless before him.
He destined us in love
to be his sons through Jesus Christ
according to the purpose of his will,
to the praise of his glorious grace
which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
In him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of our trespasses,
according to the riches of his grace
which he lavished upon us.
He has made known to us
in all wisdom and insight
the mystery of his will,
according to his purpose
which he set forth in Christ.
His purpose he set forth in Christ,
as a plan for the fulness of time,
to unite all things in him,
