Our Lady of Good Health Church,  Periakulathupatty

Periakulathupatty was a sub-station of N. Poolampatty Parish, which is 3 km away from here. In the month of September, 2004, Bishop Rev. Dr. Antony Devotta raised it to the level of a Parish and appointed Fr. Saji Ayypenparambil as the first Parish priest. This village is 55kms away form the city of Trichy and Manaparai is the nearest town which is 15kms away from here. Periakulathupatty is in the Diocese of Trichy, Tamilnadu. This rural parish has 375 Catholic families and all of them are farmers. The Present presbytery was built and inaugurated on 3rd September, 2005. The present Church was built and inaugurated on 3rd November, 2008. A special word of appreciation to Fr. Saji CM, who worked hard to raise the parish to its present situation. SONTHEM social service center started to function from here on 11th January 2011.
