St. Joseph's Church,  Vazhavila

St.Joseph Church, Vazhavila is one of the newly erected parishes in the Diocese of Neyyattinkara.This new Parish is entrusted to the care of the Vincentians who belong to the Southern Indian Province, having the Provincial House in Mysore, Karnataka. The Bishop of Neyyattinkara declared vazhavila, St.Joseph Church as a Parish on 2nd May 2011. It has got two sub stations namely Panayamuttam and Kahakuunu. These sub stations are about 7km and 2km respectively far away from the main parish, St.Joseph Church, Vazhavila. Rev.Frs. Mathew Kuruppassery CM and Saji P CM were appointed as the first parish priest and assistant parish priest respectively.
